In optimal atmospheric conditions they are able to cover all slopes with artificial snow in just 10 days ensuring that the ski resort will be operational even when there is no natural snow. The newly established Slovakia Ski Region plans to invest 8 billions Slovak crowns (£160 million GBP) within 5 years in this Ski resort with a view to raise up to 64 km of downhill courses ranging across the northern Slovak border and linking into the fantastic skiing in the Polish border region.
